The HT-5500 allows you to determine the peripheral speed from the rotational speed by setting the diameter of the rotating object being measured.

<Operating Procedure>

• Press the "MENU" button to enter parameter setting mode.
• Use the "MODE & NEXT" switch to enter "ADAPTOR-SEL (ADP)" mode, and then use the "RECALL & ↑" switch and the "MEMORY & →" switch to select [S-300] (rotating contactor KS-300).
• Select [m/min] in “UNIT-SEL (UNT)” mode.
• In “DIAMETER-SET (DIA)” mode, set the diameter of the rotating body to be measured (1 to 999 mm).
• Press the "MENU" button again to switch to measurement mode.
• When the KS-300 rotating contact is pressed against the center of the rotating shaft, the peripheral speed (m/min), calculated from the input values of rotational speed and diameter, is displayed on the display unit.
