Shape of the detection gear

For the detection gear, we recommend using the same ferromagnetic, involute gear as in the MP-900 series.
The MP-001 detection gear is available as an option. If you are manufacturing your own gears, please refer to the "Recommended Gears" section.
The figure below shows the output waveform for the tooth profile.

(B) and (C) may output two pulses for a single tooth.

 

Countermeasures for special gears

 

Installation method

Please avoid mounting the devices as shown in the diagram below, as this can cause magnetic interference between them.

(A): Mount gears of different modules close together.

(B): Mount two or more MP-9810/MP-9830 units close together on a single gear (at least 35 mm apart).
