When the input signal suddenly disappears, the output voltage signal drops to 0 V approximately 1 second after the input signal stops coming in (in the case without moving average).

The output voltage is determined by the interval (period) of the signal, but if the signal suddenly disappears, the system will wait for 1 second for the signal to return. If no signal is received for more than 1 second, it will forcibly set the output to 0 V.
