What is the relationship between the operating frequency range and voltage output of the FV-1100 F/V converter?

The standard specification for the FV-1100 is a maximum frequency of 10kHz.

When the operating frequency is below 50% of the frequency range, the output voltage decreases while the ripple * increases, resulting in poor accuracy within the operating range.
I recommend modifying the device so that the frequency range you frequently use is closer to the full-scale frequency.


(example)

In the 10kHz range, the accuracy is ±0.2%, which means...
→ 20mV/10V full scale/10kHz full scale

If the usable range is 1kHz or below,
Since 1kHz = 1V, the accuracy for 1kHz is:
→ 20mV ÷ 1V = 2% / 1V / 1kHz accuracy.

If you modify 1kHz to full scale
→ This will result in 0.2% / 10V full scale / 1kHz full scale.

As a general guideline, the usage range of the FV converter should be between 10% and 100% of the full-scale frequency (frequency range).
