FV Converter Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-0836
What is the relationship between the operating frequency range and voltage output of the FV-1100 F/V converter?
The standard specification for the FV-1100 is a maximum frequency of 10kHz.
When the operating frequency is below 50% of the frequency range, the output voltage decreases while the ripple * increases, resulting in poor accuracy within the operating range.
I recommend modifying the device so that the frequency range you frequently use is closer to the full-scale frequency.
| (example) | In the 10kHz range, the accuracy is ±0.2%, which means... If the usable range is 1kHz or below, If you modify 1kHz to full scale |
As a general guideline, the usage range of the FV converter should be between 10% and 100% of the full-scale frequency (frequency range).
