Fuel Flow Indicator Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0832

When measuring fuel flow rate with an FX series flow detector, the FM series flow meter displayed a "LEVEL ERROR" error message. Why is this happening?

The "LEVEL ERROR" light illuminates when the FX series sensor reaches either the lower limit (fuel depletion) or upper limit (overflow). This occurs when the fuel consumption of the test specimen is too high and insufficient fuel is supplied to the FX, or when the fuel consumption of the test specimen is too low and too much fuel is supplied to the FX. Please check that the fuel is being supplied properly.

If "LEVEL ERROR" is constantly displayed, there may be fuel accumulating in the reference tube. Please refer to the instruction manual, open the cover, and try draining the fuel from the reference tube.
