Due to the detection principles, the FX series cannot measure flow during filling, which also stops the instantaneous flow updates. It is necessary to prepare an environment suitable for filling for the FX series.

Measurement of instantaneous and cumulative flow rates cannot be performed until the filling is complete. When the fuel in the FX burette decreases, the filling valve inside the FX automatically opens, and fuel is filled into the burette. During the filling process, fuel continues to flow out from the FX outlet, so the engine does not stop. (This assumes that the filling flow rate is greater than the engine consumption rate.)
