FP Series Flow Detectors: General Precautions

Please install it upright (within ±15°).
Install it lower than the liquid tank. A sufficient height difference will prevent air from accumulating and create negative pressure.
Do not remove the included line filter.
When you purchase a new product, some test fluid will remain inside. Please flush the device in your intended environment before use.
The filter will become clogged. Please clean or replace it regularly.
This product is a measuring instrument. Please perform regular calibration to ensure that its performance is maintained.
Operating the device with a large amount of air in the piping immediately after installation may damage the detector. Please allow the air to be removed by slowly running liquid through the piping until it is completely filled before use.
Please use the product within the specified range for fluid temperature, ambient temperature, vibration, etc. Even within the specified range, avoid sudden temperature changes.
