Fuel Flow Indicator Frequently Asked Questions

While the AutoStop function cannot be configured via CAN communication, data can be read via CAN communication if the AutoStop conditions are manually set on the FM-3100 beforehand. CAN communication is limited to data acquisition and Start, Stop, Hold, and Reset commands. To configure the AutoStop function and perform all measurements online, please use RS-232C communication.

1. Cumulative flow rate measurement using AutoStop function via RS-232C communication

   Configured via RS-232C AutoStop type (time, flow rate, etc.) AutoStop values (cumulative time, cumulative flow rate, etc.) Start command via RS-232C communication Once the measurement is complete, the data will be read via RS-232C communication.

2. Cumulative flow rate measurement using AutoStop function via CAN communication

   Set the AutoStop type and value manually in advance. Start measurement via CAN communication. Once measurement is complete, the data is read via CAN communication.
