Basic FAQ for FFT Analyzer

EU calibration function is a feature that teaches the sensitivity values of physical signals from sensors to the FFT analyzer, allowing the vertical axis of power spectrum and others to be read directly in physical quantities. EU stands for Engineering Unit (E ngineering U nit), which means the physical unit of the sensor. In other words, since the input signal is a voltage signal, the sensitivity value of how many volts per 1 EU will be input (set).

The dB values of the EU calibration power spectrum are typically based on a reference value of 1 EU, and are displayed as dBEU. That is, 1 EU is equal to 0 dBEU.

In the case of sound and vibration, it is not the same; for example, in the case of sound, 20 μPa is considered 0 dB, so caution is necessary.
