CCLD refers to a sensor interface using constant current drive (C onstant C urrent Line​ ​Dive) method.

By supplying a constant current power supply for Accelerometer with built-in preamps or microphone preamps, it can be directly connected to inputs such as FFT analyzers without going through an external amplifier. Typically, it is a constant current power supply of about 2 ~ 4 mA.

The main advantages include: [1] no external amplifier is required, [2] standard two-wire cables (such as coaxial cables) can be used, [3] cables can be extended longer compared to other methods, and [4] a cable break detection function can be equipped.
