Basic FAQ for FFT Analyzer

It is intuitively understood that the sampling frequency should be as high as possible compared to the frequency range of the input analog signal, but due to hardware resource constraints, it cannot be set too high. As an indicator of what sampling frequency is appropriate, there is the sampling theorem (if the highest frequency contained in the input signal is f m (Hz), then to accurately analyze that frequency range, samples must be taken at a frequency of at least 2 f m (Hz)). Violating this, if the sampling frequency is set lower than 2 f m (Hz), errors may occur in the analyzed spectrum. This error is called aliasing.
