DS-3000 Frequently Asked Questions

The equipment required other than the PC and the chassis (DS-3200) is as follows:
※ DS-3100 (old model) is not supported.

-AX-9035 or AX-9036 chassis interconnection interface cable (0.75 m or 2m)

・ AX-9041 USB cable (2m)

 

Recommended USB hub

・ DS-0393 chassis USB hub

(It is also possible to connect directly to the PC without using a USB hub.)

Notes regarding FRAME LINK2

• Only the DS-3200 (current model) is supported. The DS-3100 (old model) is not supported.
• The connection box (DS-0394) is absolutely necessary.
• It is necessary to equip the main unit DS-3200 with the interconnection interface (DS-0392A).
• Commercially available USB hubs cannot be used. Please be sure to use the inter-device connection USB hub (DS-0393).
• A license for the DS-0321A (FFT analysis function) software is required. It will not operate with just the DS-0321. ● It operates in FFT-A analysis mode only. It will not function in any mode other than FFT-A analysis mode.
• It is also possible to connect multiple devices directly to a computer via USB without using the USB hub (DS-0393).
• Interface cables of different lengths cannot be used in combination.
