Is voltage range overload detection performed before or after the input filter (A, B, C characteristics)? (I'm measuring very low-level sound, and when I turn on the A-characteristic filter, the overload indicator LED turns off, but the waveform is distorted. However, when I increase the voltage range, the waveform becomes correct.)

Input voltage range overload detection is performed after the input filter (frequency-weighted filters such as A, B, and C). This detection is carried out by the input amplifier unit, which is part of the DS-2000 series front-end unit. The detection result is displayed on the unit's LED and also as information in the software, as shown in Figure 1. Therefore, please note that in rare cases, input range overload may not be detected when an A-weighting filter that attenuates low-frequency components of the signal is applied. To address this, set the filter selection to FLAT and confirm that the overload indicator LED does not light up before setting the input filter. Figure 1 shows the "Input → Voltage Range → Set2 Filter Settings" screen.
