Application Example 4: Measurement of Acoustic Power Level

This measurement method conforms to the JIS Z8732 standard for "Measurement of Acoustic Power Level in a Semi-Anechoic Chamber" and the JIS Z8734 standard for "Measurement of Acoustic Power Level in a Reverberation Chamber," and simultaneously measures sound pressure using a multi-microphone system based on Graduo. It enables high-precision acoustic power level measurement in a short time. It supports a range of microphone configurations, from a few to many, and offers a total and flexible combination of microphone mounting fixtures, microphone stands, and analysis software. Operation is easy using the Windows OS on a personal computer. Analysis results can be viewed on a monitor, and graphs and numerical lists can be printed, allowing acoustic power levels to be viewed in various formats.

Examples of analysis methods: 1. Octave band or 1/3 octave band acoustic power level 2. A-weighted acoustic power level 3. Average sound pressure level 4. Directivity
