Will upgrading from the ONO-LINK II <Card> DS-0297 to the DS-0297A for laptops increase transfer speeds? What are some points to be aware of?

While it varies depending on the computer used, the DS-0297A offers approximately twice the transfer speed of the DS-0297.
The DS-0297A type is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. Please note that it will not work with Windows 95 or Windows 98.
