DS-2000 Frequently Asked Questions

To apply frequency correction as defined by "ISO 2631-1 (Measurement Standard for Whole-Body Vibration)" and "ISO 5349-1 (Measurement Standard for Hand-Arm Vibration)" using the DS-0223 Real-Time Octave Software:
First, please download the following zip file.
When you extract the downloaded file, you will get the following three files.
- ISO2631-Wd.fit
- ISO2631-Wk.fit
- hand-ISO5349.fit
"ISO2631-Wd.fit" is a definition file for the horizontal direction of whole-body vibration, "ISO2631-Wk.fit" is a definition file for the vertical direction of whole-body vibration, and "hand-ISO5349.fit" is a definition file for the user filter for the correction characteristics of hand-arm vibration.
Each file is in text format, so you can open it with a text editor like Notepad to view the numerical values.
■Operating Procedure
From the menu, select [Input] → [User Filter Settings].
Set the octave to "1/3" and click the "Load" button. Load the definition file you downloaded earlier.
The setup is now complete.
