DS-2000 Frequently Asked Questions

phenomenon:

• When attempting to perform tracking (scheduled tracking) with the DS-0221, pressing the "START" button immediately stops the process. The number of store blocks remains at 0.
• When trying to perform time trend and rotation tracking with the DS-0223, pressing the "START" button causes it to stop before reaching 0% or 100%. The trend graph is displayed, but the data is completely messed up.

Cause:

This is because a large number of temporary files (DS21*.tmp) created by the offline analysis library remain, preventing the creation of new temporary files.

Countermeasures:

1. If you find any files named DS21*.tmp in your temporary folder, please delete them. The default path for the temporary folder is as follows: <username> will be replaced with the logged-in username.
   • For Windows XP: C:\Documents\andSettings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp
   • For Windows 7: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalTemp
2. If you're worried about directly modifying your temporary folder, please use the following tool to clean up your temporary files.
