Instructions for displaying the power spectrum from saved time-domain waveforms.

This section explains the procedure for displaying the saved time waveform and its power spectrum on two separate screens, one above the other.

■Operating Procedure

Switch to dual-screen (DUAL) display.

Click the following soft keys in order: [MAIN] → [DISPLAY] → [FORMAT] → [TYPE] → [DUAL] to switch to dual-screen display.

If you are already using dual-screen (DUAL) display, this step is unnecessary.

Time waveform readout

Click the soft keys in the following order: [MAIN] → [MEMORY] → [DATA] → [LIST] to list the saved data.

Select the time waveform you want to read from the list and click the [LOAD] key.

The selected time waveform will be played back at the position on the active screen.

The active screen becomes the active screen when you click on it, for example, the lower screen, and the title changes to white text. Here, the same time waveform is played on both screens while switching between the active screens.

Power spectrum display

  • Click the screen below to activate it.

Click the soft keys in the following order: [MAIN] → [ANALYSIS] → [DATATYPE] → [FREQUENCY] → [POWER SPECT]. The time waveform on the lower screen will change to a power spectrum display. Note that CH1 and CH2 keys will be displayed, but do not touch them, as this will display the spectrum data for CH1 and CH2.
