CF-7200 Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-0633
There's a feature to add labels to saved data, but what happens to these labels when the file is saved?
The CF-7200 has a function to add labels to saved data. When you import this data into your PC, the labels will be used as the file names.
■ Label specifications
The following input restrictions apply:
Labels are applied after the data is saved.
Each block cannot be labeled in advance.
Only 20 characters are allowed on the label.
■Operation
From the CF-7200's menu screen, select [MAIN] → [MEMORY] → [DATA] → [LIST] to display the "Data MemoryList" screen.

Select the data you want to label, then click the "..." button in the upper right corner of the "Data MemoryList" screen to bring up the on-screen keyboard.

Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the label. The label can be up to 20 characters long (half-width characters). Once you have finished entering the label, click the "OK" button to confirm. After confirmation, the label you entered will appear in the "Label" section of the "DataMemory List" screen.

A file will be created with the label name you entered at the beginning of the labeled data (and all data saved at the same time).
