Unlike a DAT recorder, it's not possible to record audio simultaneously while recording on a separate track.

After data recording is complete, you can attach a voice memo. To record a voice memo, stop recording with the STOP button, then turn on voice memo recording. Pressing the SAVE button will save both the recorded data (.orf) and the voice memo (.wav). Voice recordings are limited to a maximum of 1 minute and are in 16-bit WAV format; a 10-second recording will be approximately 2MB in size. Voice memos can also be added when saving data as a ".dat" file.
