Question number FAQ-0601

How to read time-domain waveforms

The X-axis displays 2048 points of data converted using AD conversion at a sampling frequency 2.56 times the frequency range.

The X-axis display time T is calculated as T = 2048 ÷ (frequency range) ÷ 2.56 (seconds).

The waveform will be displayed.

We will perform an FFT transformation on these 2048 sample data points and display the spectrum.

The Y-axis of the spectrum represents the amplitude voltage (RMS value) of the input waveform at each frequency.
