CF-5200 Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0586

In the mechanical impedance measurement (force/velocity), channel A is input Accelerometer and channel B is input from a force (impulse hammer). The transfer function is obtained, but the coherence function is not.

Please calculate the sum (SUM) average.

Measuring the coherence function always requires averaging the spectrum.

Time-based averaging is not a reliable method for measurement.
