What is the function that displays the power spectrum per 1Hz (power spectral density)?
This is a power spectral density (PSD) display function.
When analyzing random signal data, the resolution changes depending on the frequency range, so changing the frequency range will change the Y-axis value.
Displaying the power spectrum (power spectral density) per Hz improves the resolution difference and reduces that difference.
The frequency resolution is 1/800 of the frequency range when the data length is 2048.
At 10kHz and 1kHz, the frequencies are 12.5Hz and 1.25Hz, respectively.
Strictly speaking, it's slightly different, but for example, if you look at the spectrum at 500Hz, that spectrum displays the RMS value of the bandwidth at 12.5Hz and 1.25Hz, so the value will be larger in the 10kHz range.
Displaying in PSD format means that the spectral values are scaled down to 1/12.5 and 1/1.25, which reduces the difference in spectral magnitude across different frequency ranges.
