How to shorten servo analysis time
The following is an overview of the servo function. The reduction in measurement time depends on the settings, so please address this in your operation.
(1) The sine sweep method maintains a constant sine wave until a certain number of sampling points (e.g., 2048 points) are acquired. The FFT of each frequency point is then calculated from these 2048 points, and the process is repeated for the next frequency. The time required to sample 2048 points increases with lower frequencies, and the measurement time is longer. The more accurate the measurement, the longer the measurement time tends to be. The measurement time can be shortened by reducing the number of sample points, increasing the frequency range, reducing the number of measurement decades, reducing the point/decade ratio, and by using a pseudo-random method instead of a sine sweep.
(2) Another method is the sequence control function. You can set a program that uses a sine sweep for the range where accuracy is required, and pseudo-random or swept sign for the rest.
