CF-5200 Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0487

The servo analysis takes time for sweeping, but

(1) The signal output maintains a constant frequency until 2048 points of the signal have been sampled, in order to synchronize with the analysis (frequency resolution). Therefore, sampling takes time at low frequencies, and consequently, sweeping takes time.

(2) To reduce the time, after averaging the entire frequency range with a random signal, the frequency range requiring precise measurement is narrowed down, and the data for that portion is rewritten and measured again using sine sweep analysis or a swept sine signal.

(3) Use the sequence control function. You can divide the frequency range as in (2) and measure while switching the signal.
