CF-5200 Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-0486
When measuring the frequency response function using a sine sweep, is it better to choose power spectral density?
In a sine sweep, the output signal matches the analysis frequency (frequency resolution), so there is no need to convert it to spectral density.
In the new version, when measuring the frequency response function using a sine sweep, the window will automatically become a rectangle.
For random signals, use the Hanning window to determine the spectral density.
