CF-5200 Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0485

Is it possible to control the signal output so that the power spectrum is constant (the acceleration of the exciter is constant)?

This can be done using the AMP CONTROL function within the sine sweep sequence control feature.
During the sweep, if the feedback signal is small (channel B waveform) and the control signal requires a voltage greater than or equal to the set voltage of the signal output amplifier (e.g., 1V), the set voltage (1V) is output and the frequency is stepped up to the next level.

The amplifier's set voltage needs to be set higher than the control target voltage.

Only sine sweeps can be controlled by feedback.
