CF-5200 Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0462

Vibration and CAL signal (80Hz 1V) are being recorded on a recorder. I would like to perform real-time 1/1 OCT analysis, but I need: 1) calibration method, and 2) Criteria for selecting the time constant.

(1) Use calibration function.

The Y-axis is set to LIN, the CAL signal is spectrally analyzed, and the overall value (in m/s²) is keyed in. (A function to set any search point value to any EU value.)

(2) If using max analysis, set the time constant to 10 ms.

For vibration level analysis, select a time constant of 630ms + vibration filter.
