(1) dB is the logarithm of the ratio of a certain value to a reference value.
The d in dB stands for d = 1/10 unit.

In CF,
the reference is taken as a sine wave with an amplitude effective value of 1Vrms, and it is displayed in power (squared value).
y = 10Log(a/A) ²
a: data A: reference (1Vrms)

(2) The reference sound pressure for the sound level meter is 20μPa, sound pressure 1Pa = 94dB.
y = 10Log{1/20×10-6} ² = 94

The calibration function allows the display of CF to match the dB of the sound level meter.
