(1) dB is the logarithm of the ratio of a certain value to a reference.
The 'd' in dB stands for 1/10.

In CF
The reference is a sine wave with an effective amplitude of 1Vrms, and the power (squared value) is displayed.

a: Data A: Reference (1Vrms)

(2) In the case of a sound level meter, the reference sound pressure is 20 μPa, and 1 Pa = 94 dB.
