CF-5200 Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0389

What do "all-pass" and "overall" mean in real-time octave analysis, and what are the differences?

(1) All-pass indicates the overall value obtained from the data before it is passed through the filter (raw data of the input signal).

(2) The overall value is calculated using data analyzed using 1/1 and 1/3 OCT.
Therefore, the selected filter characteristics, such as A-weighting, are taken into consideration.
