CF-5200 Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-0369
What do the "ORDER PEAK" and "BAND WIDTH" settings in the tracking settings do?
Both "ORDER PEAK" and "BAND WIDTH" are functions that track the magnitude of the order components as accurately as possible. They are useful when the order does not perfectly match the set analysis order.
- ORDER PEAK
ORDER PEAK is a function that, for the order being tracked, selects the largest value among three points, including the orders on either side of the specified order (the lines on either side of the FFT analysis result), and uses that as the tracking data. - BAND WIDTH
BAND WIDTH is a function that uses a partial overall value for the number of lines set by BAND WIDTH, centered on the specified order, as tracking data. A setting of "0" disables the function, and a value of "3" or higher enables it. Note that the BAND WIDTH function is active even when ORDER PEAK is OFF. Furthermore, if both ORDER PEAK and BAND WIDTH are ON, the BAND WIDTH function takes priority.
