CF-5200 Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0333

In a shock test using two Accelerometer, (1) how do you determine the transfer functions α1/α0, V1/V0, X1/X0: α = acceleration, V = velocity, X = displacement? (2) Will all of these yield the same value?

(1) When α0 is input to channel A and α1 to channel B, the frequency response function is measured to be α1 / α0.

(2) Although the physical meaning is different, the result is the same.

V1/V0=α1×(1/Jω)÷{α0×(1/Jω)}=α1/α0

X1/X0=V1×(1/Jω)÷{V0×(1/Jω)}=V1/V0
