CF-4500 Frequently Asked Questions

1. Backup from internal memory to USB memory.

｢MAIN｣→｢MEMORY｣→｢UTILITY｣→｢COPY FILES｣→｢COPY FILES TYPES｣→｢DATA｣、

Turn both PANEL COND to ON.

Return to the hierarchy of "COPY FILES" and execute the on-screen start copy with Yes in "INTERNAL⇒USB".

(Please refer to the section on executing data copying in the reference guide.)

2. - Note of items not stored in the panel condition memory -

The following settings will not be saved in the panel condition memory, so please take note of the settings in advance,
and after the update is complete, please manually reset them.

2.1. Items that are not stored in the panel condition memory but are retained even when the power is turned off.

"MAIN" → "CONDITION" below * Includes RS-232C settings.

"MAIN" → "MEMORY" below ※ START TYPE (device startup) will be NEW.

The settings under "CONDITION" and "MEMORY" will be retained regardless of the power ON/OFF, unless a version upgrade is performed.

2.2. Settings that are not stored in the panel condition memory and are initialized at every startup.

"MAIN" → "OUTPUT" → "PHONE" below
"MAIN" → "ANALYSIS" → "CALC" below
"MAIN" → "TRACKING" → "SCHEDULE" below

"PHONE" → below, "CALC" → below, "SCHEDULE" below will
be initialized at power-up regardless of upgrades.

※ If "PHONE" has the optional CF-0453 bandpass & monitor function added,
※ If "SCHEDULE" has the optional CF-0451 tracking function added, it can be enabled. If no options are added, it cannot be enabled.

Other panel keys TRIG, AVG START, START, COMPARE, SELECT will be OFF at every startup.

3. Procedure for loading panel conditions.

Soft key settings

Turn MAIN → MEMORY → PANEL COND → RELAY LOAD​ ​ON.

Panel Condition Load Procedure

"MAIN" → "MEMORY" → "PANEL COND" → "COPY" to set Source to USB and Target to INT.

Press the soft key "ALL ON" once.
Press "COPY EXECUTE" to execute the copy.

4. The following items need to be reset (checklist)

□ LAN settings

｢MAIN｣→｢CONDITION｣→｢LAN SETTING｣

□ RS-232C settings

｢MAIN｣→｢CONDITION｣→｢RS232C SETTING｣

□ SAVE TYPE (Type of data to be saved)

｢MAIN｣→｢MEMORY｣→｢DATA｣→｢SAVE TYPE｣

□ PROTECT (Prevention of Memory Overwriting)

｢MAIN｣→｢MEMORY｣→｢PROTECT｣

□ START TYPE (State at the time of main unit startup)

｢MAIN｣→｢MEMORY｣→｢PANEL COND｣→｢START TYPE｣

Please reconfigure the start entry settings in the case of a SELECT operation.
