CF-4500 Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0293

How to save, restore, or copy the settings of a CF-4500 to another CF-4500.

When upgrading the software on the CF-4500 unit, please back up the panel condition memory and block memory before performing the upgrade.
Upgrading the software will reset all settings to their default values.



■Operating Procedure

1. -Backing up from internal memory to USB memory-

MAIN」→「MEMORY」→「UTILITY」→「COPY FILES」→「COPY FILES TYPES」→「DATA」、

Turn ON both "PANEL COND" settings.

Go back to the "COPY FILES" hierarchy and execute "Start Copy" by selecting "Yes" under "INTERNAL⇒USB".

(Please refer to the section on "Copying Data" in the reference guide.)

2. -Notes on items not stored in panel condition memory-

The following settings will not be stored in the panel condition memory, so please make a note of your settings beforehand.
After the update is complete, please manually reconfigure your settings.

2.1. Items that are not stored in the panel condition memory but are retained even when the power is turned off.

"MAIN" → "CONDITION" and below * RS-232C settings are included.

"MAIN" → "MEMORY" and below. *START TYPE (device startup) will be NEW.

The settings under "CONDITION" and "MEMORY" will be retained regardless of whether the power is turned on or off, unless you perform a version upgrade.

2.2. Settings that are not stored in panel condition memory and are reset at each startup.

Regardless of upgrades, the system will be reset when powered on.

* PHONE" is optional CF-0453 If bandpass and monitor functions are added,
* SCHEDULE" is optional CF-0451 This feature can be enabled if the tracking function has been added. It cannot be enabled if the option has not been added.

Other panel keys TRIG, AVG START, START, COMPARE, SELECT This will be turned OFF every time the system starts.

3. Procedure for loading panel conditions

● Soft key settings

Go to "MAIN" → "MEMORY" → "PANEL COND" → and turn on"RELAY LOAD".

● Panel Condition Loading Procedure

Go to "MAIN" → "MEMORY" → "PANEL COND" → "COPY" and set the Source to USB and the Target to INT.

Press the "ALL ON" soft key once.
Press "COPY EXECUTE" to execute the copy.

4. The following items need to be reconfigured (checklist)
