I accidentally corrupted the OS, but is there no way for an end user to repair it? Do I have a backup disk?

Embedded Windows systems are managed under a contract with the manufacturer. Therefore, there are no backup disks, and repairs will be handled by picking up the device.
I'm currently using Windows 95.
