In CF-3200/3400 and CF-3200J/3400J models manufactured between 1998 and 1999, a phenomenon has been observed where, if the built-in backup battery (the battery that maintains the calendar function and BIOS) runs out, the BIOS settings switch to an external display, and the main unit's LCD screen stops displaying anything.
