CF-3000 Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-0182
Trend data was saved after measuring with A-Waighting for overall enabled. The played-back text data is not A-waited.
The reason
The original measured data is flat-weighted data. A-weighting calculations are performed on this original data, and the results are displayed as A-weighted data.
A-Weighting for overall is also calculated using a similar method.
As a response,
(1) When the ACout of the sound level meter is input,
Set the noise meter's filter characteristics to A-weighting. Since ACout is the output after passing through an A-weighting filter, using the FLAT filter setting on the CF3000 series will result in A-weighting analysis.
(2) When an MI series microphone is connected directly
By inputting the signal to the CF3000 series via an SR-2200 frequency-compensated microphone amplifier, the same result as in (1) can be achieved.
