CF-3000 Frequently Asked Questions

I saved the trend data measured with 'A-Waighting for overall' set to 'on'. The replayed text data is not in 'A-wait' format.

The saved data will be in either text format or CF format, and will have FLAT characteristics.

The reason is
that the measured original data is FLAT characteristic data. From this original data, A-Wait is calculated and displayed as A characteristic data.
A-Waiting for overall is similarly calculated.

As a response,
(1) When inputting the ACout of the sound level meter,
set the filter characteristics of the sound level meter to A characteristics. Since ACout is the output through the A-Waighting Filter, using FLAT for the Filter setting of the CF3000 series will result in A characteristic analysis.

(2) When an MI Series microphone is connected directly
Inputting it into the CF3000 Series through a microphone amplifier with SR-2200 frequency correction, etc., produces the same result as (1).
