CF-3000 Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0169

The system stopped booting up (after inserting the PCMCIA card).

(Cause) The PC card slot has two slots, one above the other. The lower slot contains the CF-3000 system software. Removing it may prevent the system from booting, so please do not remove it under any circumstances. When using expansion, use the upper slot.
English version: The PCMCIA compatible card cannot be recognized. When the card is inserted, the CPU tries to find it, but it stops midway because it cannot be recognized.
- Japanese version: Insert a PCMCIA-compatible card into the upper slot.
