To display the distance traveled:
We offer the RV-3150 reversible counter for displaying the travel distance of the WE-1011 and WE-5011 wire encoders. By using the RV-3150's 2x multiplier function, you can display distances in 0.1 mm increments. Please note that the signal input is via a terminal block, so you will need to create an extension cord for wiring.
For information on extension cords, please refer to the section "How to extend signal cords."
The wiring to the terminal block for the RV-3150 is as follows. Function settings for the RV-3150 are also required, so please refer to the instruction manual included with the RV-3150 for details. The diagram below shows the RV-3150 signal input terminal block.

■ Regarding the wiring of the RV-3150 terminal block
The terminal block of the RV-3150 reversible counter is a push-button type terminal block that allows for direct connection of wires, so please connect it correctly according to the following connection method.
- Use wires with an AWG size of 28 to 16 (0.14 to 1.5 mm²).
- The stripped wire length should be 7 ± 1 mm.
- Do not pre-solder the ends of the wires. This will prevent a proper connection.
- When tightening terminal screws, use a screwdriver that matches the slot size of the terminal screw. If the screwdriver does not match, you may not be able to tighten it to the specified torque, and you may damage the terminal screw.
- Tighten the terminal screws to a torque of 0.25 N·m. This will prevent the screws from loosening and the wires from coming loose.
