In the case of the VT-5200/5700 series displacement meter amplifier, only one VE series gap detector can be adjusted; therefore, it is not possible to use multiple VE series gap detectors by swapping them out in a single amplifier.

The CL-5600 series thickness gauge amplifier allows you to register calibration values for up to six VE series gap detectors in total across channels A and B. You can swap gap detectors by selecting the one to use in the condition menu. The CL-5600 series thickness gauge amplifier is equipped with SENSOR-A/B terminals that can output a linearized signal of the gap detector's analog signal while maintaining high responsiveness. This output is useful for high-speed response measurements such as rotational axis runout, but the number of gap detectors that can be adjusted in combination is limited to one per terminal. Please note that sensor selection in the condition menu will be disabled.
