In the case of the VT-5200/5700 series displacement amplifier, only one adjustable VE series gap detector is available, so it is not possible to use multiple VE series gap detectors by swapping them into one amplifier.

For the CL-5600 series thickness gauge amplifier, calibration values for up to six VE series gap detectors can be registered in total for channels A and B. By selecting the gap detector to be used in the condition menu, you can interchange the gap detectors. The CL-5600 series thickness gauge amplifier is equipped with SENSOR-A/B terminals that can output a linearized signal of the gap detector's analog signal while maintaining high responsiveness. This output is useful for high-speed response applications such as measuring displacement of rotational axis runout, but the gap detectors that can be adjusted in combination are limited to one each. Please note that sensor selection in the condition menu will be disabled.
