I want to measure to the end of the target with the VE series gap detector, but how far can it measure?

The area required for measurement is the same as the diameter of the sensor, so measurements can be taken as long as the sensor does not extend beyond the target. If the sensor extends beyond the target, the measured values will be larger than the actual distance.
