Can the VE series gap detector measure composite materials? (In the case of insulators)
If the object being measured is an insulator, composite materials cannot be measured.
| It can measure single-material items without any problems. (The measurable thickness will be 1/3 to 1/5 of the sensor's measurement range.) |  |
| If an object is made up of multiple materials bonded together, it cannot be measured because it is not possible to distinguish and measure each material individually. |  |
| If there are voids inside, the dielectric constant changes due to these voids, making measurement impossible. |  |
