Precautions for installing the RP-7400 roller encoder.

  1. When installing the RP-7400 roller encoder, please pay attention to the installation direction (the direction of movement of the object being measured). (See diagram below)
    The main unit has two mounting holes (φ10H7). A φ10H7 SUS303 (material) rod is recommended for mounting. Do not clamp the main unit during installation; this may cause malfunctions or reduce sensor lifespan.
  2. When installing the RP-7400 roller encoder, be sure to ground the unit. (See diagram below)
    The main unit has a screw hole (M4, 8mm deep) for attaching a grounding terminal. (*1 M4, 8mm long screw included)
