Cautions for Installing Roller Encoder RP-7400

  1. When installing the RP-7400 roller encoder, please pay attention to the installation direction (the direction of movement of the measurement target) during installation. (See the figure below)
    The main body has two mounting holes (φ10H7). It is recommended to use a rod made of SUS303 (material) with a diameter of φ10h7. Do not fix it by pinching the main body. This may cause malfunction and reduce the sensor's lifespan.
  2. When installing the RP-7400 roller encoder, be sure to ground the main unit. (See the figure below)
    The main unit has a screw hole for the grounding terminal (M4 depth 8). (※1 M4 length 8 screws included)
