What are the differences between the GS-1700/GS-1800 series and the GS-1700A/GS-1800A series?
I am using the GS-1700, GS-1800, GS-4700, GS-4800, GS-6700, and GS-6800 series.
I would like to purchase the same item, but the catalog and website show...
The model numbers have changed over time, from GS-1700A, GS-1800A, GS-4700A, GS-4800A, GS-6700A, to GS-6800A series.
What is the difference between model numbers with an "A" and those without?
"A" is missing... The electrical circuit inside the sensor is short-circuited to 0V and the shield (housing).
"A" indicates that the electrical circuit inside the sensor (0V) is insulated from the shield (housing).
There are no other changes to the mechanical properties or dimensions.
Using the version with "A" as a substitute for the version without "A" will not cause any problems.
