Digital Gauges: Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-0087
Description of the preset measurement function for DG-825, DG-925, DG-525, and DG525H.
This function sets the display to a pre-configured value and performs measurements from that value. The maximum setting value is 69.99 (or 69.999 mm).
For example, when measuring the dimensions of a part that is approximately 50mm ± 10mm, if you set a reference point with a 50mm gauge block, preset it to 50.00, and then measure the part, the display will show a measurement of 40mm to 60mm.
