Digital Gauges: Frequently Asked Questions

The DG-4340 has three comparator outputs: Comparator 1 (COMP1), Comparator 2 (COMP2), and Comparator 3 (COMP3). Each channel can be set to "Lower" mode, "Upper" mode, or "OK/NG" mode.

In "Lower" mode and "Upper" mode, one judgment value is set, while in "OK/NG" mode, two judgment values, "Lower" and "Upper," are set.

In "Lower" mode, the relay turns ON (the screen lights up red) when the measured value is below the set value. In "Upper" mode, the relay turns ON (the screen lights up red) when the measured value is above the set value. In "OK/NG" mode, the relay turns ON (the screen lights up green) when "Lower setting value" < measured value < "Upper" setting value.
