DG-4280: Names and Functions of Each Part
This device combines with a gauge sensor to determine dimensions. It is compatible with all GS series models, both new and old.
(1) Front panel

<1> Display section
The measurement value is displayed in millimeters as a 5-digit number. If the measurement value is negative, the "-" indicator on the left will light up. If there is a measurement error, the displayed value will blink. (See the troubleshooting section.)
<2> RESET switch
Pressing the switch resets the displayed value, BCD output, and error output.
<3> PRESET1-4 Digital Switches
Set preset values for the determination process.
<4> PRESET GATE1~4
The indicator light illuminates red while a preset gate (1-4) is input from the rear panel terminal block. While the light is on, the judgment output is forcibly stopped and turned OFF.
<5> PRESET OUT1~4
The light illuminates when the set value meets the output conditions for each preset. Preset Output Conditions (Common to PRESET 1-4)
When the set polarity equals the measured polarity AND |set value| ≤ |measured value|
(2) Rear panel

<6> Power input terminals (No. 1, 2)
Input a power supply of AC 100V to 240V.
<7> Ground terminal (NO.3)
For safety and noise reduction, always ensure that the equipment is grounded.
<8> Preset Gate Input Terminals (NO.5-8)
If this terminal and the <9>COM terminal are short-circuited, the detection process will be forcibly stopped and the detection output will be turned off.
| Input terminal | Preset gate |
|---|---|
| No.5 | 1 |
| No.6 | 2 |
| N0.7 | 3 |
| No.8 | 4 |
<9> COM terminal (No.9)
This is a common terminal for preset gate signals.
<10> <11> <12> <13> Preset relay outputs (No. 10-17)
With one make contact output, it turns ON when the measured value meets the output conditions of presets 1 to 4.
| Input terminal | Preset Output | |
|---|---|---|
| <10> | No.10 、No.11 | 1 |
| <11> | No12 、No.13 | 2 |
| <12> | No.14 、No.15 | 3 |
| <13> | No.16 、No.17 | 4 |
<14> Hold input terminal (No. 20)
Short-circuiting this terminal with the <16>COM terminal will hold the displayed value and the BCD output. However, the judgment output will not be held.
<15> Reset terminal (No. 21)
Short-circuiting this terminal and the <16>COM terminal will reset the displayed value, BCD output, and error display and error output.
<16> COM terminal (No.22)
This is the common terminal for the hold signal and reset signal.
<17> BCD OUT connector
These are connectors for BCD output, judgment output, and external command signal input.
<18> SIG IN connector
Connect the signal cable for the gauge sensor.
