BCD connector input signal timing chart
This shows the timing chart for the input signals of the BCD connector. For the pinout of the BCD connector, please refer to the DG-4120 BCD out specification.
Timing chart for hold input, BUSY input, and print command output.
When importing data into a sequencer or similar device, please input a hold signal to ensure the BCD signal is stable before importing. If you import data without inputting a hold signal, the data may not be read correctly if it is acquired at a time when the BCD data is being updated. Please be careful.

THDH1
The maximum time from when the hold signal is input until the displayed value and BCD output data are held is 10 μs.
TDH2
The maximum time between the release of the hold signal and the release of the hold state is 30 μs.
TDS
The time between the display value and BCD output data being held and the print command signal being output is a maximum of 10 μs.
PWS
The pulse width of the print command signal is 100-150 μs.
TIH
The minimum time between releasing the hold signal and re-inputting it is 150 μs. If the hold signal is input at a shorter interval than this, the print command signal may not be output.
- Reset signal timing chart
The pulse width of the reset input signal must be 20 μs or more. The time required from the input of the reset signal until the reset state is reached, and the time required from the release of the reset signal until the reset state is released, must both be a maximum of 20 μs.

Print command output timing chart

The diagram above shows the case where the printer is started on the rising edge of the print command signal. The hold input should remain at a low level until the BUSY input reaches a low level. The BUSY signal should indicate that the printer is printing. A hold signal will be ignored if it is input while printing is in progress.
