Frequently Asked Questions about Speedometers

The main unit with the built-in IMU and the optional small IMU must be installed in the specified direction and angle.

For the main unit, install it with the FRONT label side facing the front of the vehicle.
Ensure that the FRONT label is within a vertical accuracy of ±5° and a horizontal accuracy of ±10° towards the front of the vehicle.
(This applies only when the optional small IMU is not used)
For the small IMU, install it with the arrow in the X direction facing the direction of vehicle travel.
As with the main unit, ensure that it is within a vertical accuracy of ±5° and a horizontal accuracy of ±10° towards the front of the vehicle.
Note that if the small IMU is connected, the installation direction of the main unit is not fixed. Any direction is acceptable.

The antenna is installed on the roof or dashboard.

When installing an antenna on the roof, please make sure to place it in a horizontal area.

The base of the antenna is magnetic, allowing it to be directly attached to a metal roof.

When installing the antenna on the roof, please place the main unit or small IMU directly underneath the antenna or close to it.

(This applies only when the optional small IMU is not used.)

When installing the antenna on the dashboard, since the magnet on the bottom of the antenna cannot be used,
please secure it with double-sided tape or similar on the bottom of the antenna.

For both the roof and dashboard, please secure the cables with tape in several places to prevent them from falling.
Also, do not apply fixing tape on the top surface of the antenna, as it may reduce reception sensitivity.
