Fuel Flow Indicator Frequently Asked Questions

When using the FM-series for the first time, you must configure the following items on the FP-flow detector during initial setup.
Similarly, if you change the FP-flow detector you are using, you will need to configure it in the same way.

Initial setup method when using the FP-2250A flow detector with the FM-2500 flow indicator.

 

<Caution>

 

(1) Set the date. (※This step is unnecessary if the date is correct) →Click here for instructions on how to set the date.

 

(2) Set the following in order: ① detector, ② factor value, ③ encoder pulse, and ④ pressure sensor settings.

 

<Operating Procedure>

 

1. Press (MENU) to display the settings screen.

>>Please select the slot you wish to use. If you wish to use multiple slots, each slot requires separate configuration.orin Select Press this button to display the settings menu.

 

2. The DF-0400 Setup menu will be displayed.

orin Select Press this button.

 

3. The Sensor setup menu will be displayed.

orin Select Press to display the detector selection list.

 

4. Display the list of detectors to configure.

>> Select the detector to use (The currently selected sensor has been reversed.)

 

5. Specify the detector to use.

(The detector used is the FP-2250A.)orThen select FP225X Pressing this button confirms the detector settings.

 

6. Set the factor value.

	orinSelect,When you press The higher-order digits of the factor value are inverted. >>Set the factor value as indicated on the detector's nameplate or inspection report.
	orPressing this button will move the inverted digit.orPressing this button will increase or decrease the inverted value.

[Example of a 4-digit factor value]
If the factor value is 4 digits, set the most significant digit to 0: 09824 (Example setting)

 

7. Factor Value Determination

Pressing this button confirms the setting of the factor value.

 

8. Encoder pulse settings

If the encoder pulse is displayed (set) as 120*10, no further settings are required. → Proceed to step 10. If the setting (display) is anything other than 120*10, If you want to set it to "120", follow these steps:orinSelect Pressing this button will display a list of pulse count options.

9. Select from the list of options.

orSelect 120 * 10 Pressing this button confirms the encoder pulse.

The number of decimal places displayed will start from 0.0.
*If you want to reduce the number of digits by one, please select 120.

 

10. Pressure sensor settings

	orinSelect Pressing this button will display a list of rated pressure options.
	orSelect 980 Pressing this button will set the rated pressure.

 

11. Pressing this button will bring up the measurement display screen.
