How do I perform the initial setup when using the FP-2140H flow detector with the FM-2500 flow indicator?
When using the FM-series for the first time, you must configure the following items on the FP-flow detector during initial setup.
Similarly, if you change the FP-flow detector you are using, you will need to configure it in the same way.

<Caution>
- This is how to set up the standard specifications. Please note that the settings will differ for custom specifications.
- This is how to configure the settings from the factory default.
- This setting measures instantaneous flow rate (volume). For settings for other measurements, please refer to the instruction manual.
- The display refresh time is 1 second (factory default). Please refer to the instruction manual for instructions on how to change this setting.
(1) Set the date. (※This step is unnecessary if the date is correct) →Click here for instructions on how to set the date.
(2) Set the detector, factor value, and encoder pulse in that order.
<Operating Procedure>

Press (MENU) to display the settings screen.

2. The DF-0400 Setup menu will be displayed.

3. The Sensor setup menu will be displayed.

4. Display the list of detectors to configure.

>> Select the detector to use (The currently selected sensor has been reversed.)

5. Specify the detector to use.

6. Set the factor value.

The higher-order digits of the factor value are inverted. >>Set the factor value as indicated on the detector's nameplate or inspection report. |

If the encoder pulse is displayed (set) as 120*10, no further settings are required. → Proceed to step 10. If the setting (display) is anything other than 120*10, If you want to set it to "120", follow these steps: |

The displayed decimal places will start from 0.00.
*If you want to reduce the number of digits by one, please select 120.
